August Open Day at North East Scotland’s Largest Wood Chip Drying Facility

Following on from their successful Open Day in April, the pioneering renewable energy hub at Glenskinno Farm, with the largest wood chip drying facility in North East Scotland, is once again opening its doors on Tuesday 30th August to welcome agricultural and rural business owners from across Scotland to showcase its brand new CHP system.

Absolute partnered with the Gall family at Glenskinno Farm to enable them to diversify their business through installing tailored renewable energy solutions. By installing the biomass, CHP and wind turbine on site, this project has provided a platform for the innovative landowners to grow their business and become more sustainable by reducing costs and generating significant new income.

The Open Day is hosted by the Gall Family in partnership with Absolute and is a fantastic opportunity to see five revolutionary biomass boilers in action drying the wood chip as well as a state of the art CHP system and wind turbine.
